Tongass Fjords X 50% off

I was looking at the Milviz sale on SimMarket and noticed Tongass Fjords is 50% off. 14 Euros.

As Orbx is designed to work around it and not replace it, it was a missing piece to the Orbx world.

Unfortunately I didn't bring the installer home with me after downloading it, so I won't be able to install until tomorrow night.

Even without seeing it though, if you like the Orbx regions, and want to plug the hole between Pacific Fjords and Southern Alaska, this is the only way. Is it better than just using Global? I dunno. It does have mesh, vector and landclass data which we be waiting until at least summer for the latter from Orbx's Global line. Holger Sandmann was one of the guys heavily involved with it, and he makes great stuff. I wasn't willing to pay full price for it, but since it was 14 euro's/$19, I decided to go for it.

Finally, I have someone to fly out of Sitka with! Yes it's better than global, Holger Sandmann and Bill Womack did an amazing job, as a package it's better than any Orbx region I own. AI shipping routes and AI aircraft including custom models and liveries true to the region, sightseeing tour flights, saved flights at interesting points of interest, lots of really great unique airstrips, highly detailed larger airports like Sitka, lakes and rivers freeze during winter, highly customizable installer... jeez, I sound like a salesman, but really it's my favourite, didnt get a chance to fly there much as not many people have the region.

Now I'm guessing it just needs to be updated to be compatible with Global lights... Hopefully Holger can swing something there. I'll get it installed tonight and check it out.
