Just got it, and it's fantastic ! The stereo audio coming out of my flat screen is startling.
    Flight dynamics catches me off-guard.
Visuals and 3D cockpit are superb!
I have to re-learn how to fly it, and that's not a complaint.

hmm looks like owners of V1 will have to pay $25 for the upgrade($45 for new customers). Kinda disappointing the upgrade price is steep, but if they completely re-worked everything I guess it could be worth it.

V1 and the Turbine Duke were amazing...in my opinion much better then any of Carenado's cockpit's so V2 should be pretty nice.

Yeah $25 is a little steep, and maybe they'll drop the price, but it's my day off and I knew i was going to get it, so I clicked 'buy' and am glad I did.
The brakes squeak, the runway bounces, any subtle nuance shows up. Sounds like 'so-what' , but the upgrade descriptions are accurate. The guage needles vibrate when you roll down the runway...more sophsticated stuff too...

Interesting, thanks for your thoughts KLM! Did you notice in difference in frame rates? I always had great frames in the RealAir stuff, that was always the appeal to me, great looking aircraft with exceptional frame rates.

I have a dual-core processor. One thing I just noticed is since I upgraded the B-60 is that the CPu's are running always at 100%. This causes my google Chrome to be sluggish, for example. i never noticed it before.
The B-60 is much more responsive in all aspects. The overview link in my previous post explains some things.
Also, here is a partial quote from their flying guide that comes with version2:
            General Handling Improvements
            Turn improvements
The most significant flight model improvements relate to turning.
The turn coordinator in the previous version of the RealAir Duke was not accurately reporting
turn rate, making it difficult to fly an accurate rate-one turn. The flight model would still allow for
an accurate rate-one turn if the correct bank angle was flown, but the inaccurate turn coordinator
caused the pilot to unknowingly select the wrong bank angle to achieve an accurate rate-one turn.
We spent some time fine tuning the turn coordinator to allow for perfectly accurate rate one turns.
