Looks like Josh and Scout have picked it up, how is she on the packets? Not too heavy I hope. Also, do they have a model with the fuel tanks on? I really hope they keep expanding the model, would love to see a high quality Jayhawk for some Coast Guard fun (I'm not a fan of the Aerosoft Jayhawk).

So far there appears to be a packet problem when you first load in. Kind of like the deal with the C-130 and the radios have to be turned on ASAP. Room for improvement but looks like it will OK.

Just bought mine a few minutes ago, only to get a corrupted file from FlightSim Pilot Shop. So now it's a mail to Cera requesting a new file. Hopefully they get back to me before the weekend.

Ugh, are they one of those distributors who require you to request a new download link each time you want to download it? I really dislike that. A2A has something similar that is at least tolerable, and you get 3 active download links, after which you have to request for them to be activated again.

This sort of half-assed attempt at trying to prevent piracy only hurts legitimate customers.

Edit: Unless I misunderstood you... if you havent already, try redownloading the file if they allow it. a lot of times what will happen is your download will stop before its complete and result in a corrupt file.

Also, try reaching them on their Facebook page if you have any trouble getting a hold of support, they have been very active on there since release. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cera-...ocation=stream

Just got a reply email from them saying to try reinstalling. That is very unclear, so I downloaded the file again via the link from the Pilot Shop and got the same result. The file they uploaded there is corrupt.

I don't have facebook, so I'm stuck until they get back to me. I'd prefer a direct download link from them. Funny though that the entire thing is only a 12Mb file size?

I just wrote them Facebook on your behalf pointing out the error. Definitely a corrupt file on their end, as simmarket lists the file size to be 149mb. I'll keep you up to date here if I found out anything else, its definitely an error on their end, not yours.

Here is the message I sent:
Hello, I am writing on behalf of a member of our community who recently purchased the UH-60 via FSPilotShop. It appears the file they are distributing is corrupt, as its listed on their website as only being 12mb in size, while it shows it as being 149mb on simmarket. Just wanted to let you guys know so that the problem can be corrected, as he has purchased the aircraft but is not recieving the correct file. Thank you.
PS. I highly recommend simmarket over FSPilotShop in the future. Just my personal preference, never had an issue with simmarket.

Glad to help. Here is their response.

We apologize to all our customers FSPilotShop, we have a technical fault with the installer. we're working to fix this issue
I would imagine that by later this evening/tomorrow morning everything should be sorted out.

Well, it's 1015 CST and FSPilotShop did not post the fixed installer. And I tried calling their Hotline, only to hear a voice mail that they are closed on weekends. So I don't expect to get the proper installer until Monday.

As was said, I'd steer clear of purchases from FSPilotShop. This isn't the first time they done this to me, but it will be the last.

That's unfortunate to hear, Boomer. I didnt even think of the approaching weekend. Hope its fixed sooner rather than later. If it helps any, you arent the only one, there are a few more people speaking up about the error on their Facebook page today.

I have been working on some of the issues with the UH-60 from Cera Sim. I have a GPS for the dashboard and for the pop-up and I have solved the issue of the fatal error after sitting on the ground for extended periods of time.

YOU MUST HAVE THE AIRCRAFT TO DO THESE FIXES....

GPS Fix: I have installed the Garmin 500 in the dashboard and for the Shift-2 popup. To obtain this fix, go to the Teamspeak file browser from the main channel and open the UH-60L GPS fix folder. In this folder are the replacement aircraft.cfg and panel.cfg files. Download both of these files and replace the ones that are in your UH_60L_BlackHawk aircraft folder. Walla, GPS 500

Fatal Error info and fix: A fatal error will occur with this aircraft if the aircraft is in multiplayer and sitting for extended periods of time. The problem is in the ground effects that come with the aircraft. The longer you sit on the ground, the more and more bits of RAM get chewed up until your computer errors out. It took some deep investigation, but this is how to fix the issue: remove the effects from the FSX ROOT\Effects folder that are added by the aircraft installation. These files are: FX_tchdwn_uh60.fx and fx_vcuh60.fx. Walla, you loose the ground effect of landing, but no more fatal error. I am writing to cera in hopes of getting a fix that doesnt require the removal of effects.....
