  • FSX Real World Weather (WX)

This has been in some discussion as of late, whether the Real WX from Jeppesen is reporting real weather or not, and it seems on many other websites including FSXBG are stating that with the shutdown of Gamespy Microsoft is no longer working with Jeppesen for Real World WX. In fact it looks like its the same weather that seems to be going in a random loop. I have a possible solution to this issue now that a program has come to my attention....

General Weather theme set to: Real World Static (Snapshot no update until server is "refreshed")

    Payware Programs for Real WX:

    1. Real Environment Xtreme - http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com/essod.html

    2. Active Sky Next - http://www.hifitechinc.com/products/activeskynext

    3. FSGlobal Real Weather - http://www.fly2pilots.com/Cms/Ui/Pag...1-b3c70aee6034

    4. OpusFSX - http://www.opussoftware.co.uk/opusfsi.htm

"Remember, when in doubt hold on to your altitude, no one has ever collided with the sky"

"Speed is life, Altitude is life insurance"

"Respect the ground, for during the 100 or so years that man has been flying things made of metal going hundreds of miles per hour, and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose."

I HIGHLY recommend that people try the free 7 day trial of Active Sky Next, they do not take your credit/debit card info to try it, only your current e-mail and IP info. I personally use Active Sky Next and it is bar none the best WX simulation I have ever seen.
