A lot of people fly addon aircraft or default aircraft but with a different callsign.
FSX Controllers see numerous players as ORB or AME on the radar list when the player believes their callsign is something else.
Similarly we see BRI instead of British Airways or DEL instead of Delta etc etc etc.
Similar to airports all airlines also have an ICAO code called a Trigraph.
A Trigraph is a 3 letter code which identifies the airline.
Some airlines also have callsigns for example British Airways uses Speedbird and US Airways use the Cactus Callsign.
I've put together a list of Trigraphs and callsigns for everybody to use so they show up correctly to ATC.
For instance instead of British Airways 201 showing to ATC as BRI201, it will show correctly as BAW201.
If ATC use the full TAG on radar it will show as BAW201 Speedbird, letting us know to call you Speedbird201.
Most if not all of todays Trigraphs are in the list and all you have to do is select it from the drop down list when selecting your callsign before a flight.
TO INSTALL
It's really easy to install.
Download the file.
And move it to your FSX install folder.
Just drag and drop the file airlines.cfg.
The folder is usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ (or SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX if using the Steam Version) unless you didn't install FSX in the default location.
Happy Flying.
