Spectacular scenery awaits us this week. Meanwhile, back in 1978, one of our crew has had the bright idea to preempt the whole crashed satellite disaster. Time will tell if we're successful or whether we'll just generate stranger side-effects...
Server: JoinFS latest stable version, currently v1.1.10.
(Last week we used FSVintageAIR hub 98.208.26.125 which is maintained on the latest stable version, as our more usual hubs had moved to the development version 1.1.13.)
Cruise: 225 kts indicated at 11-13,000 ft asl.
Route: Week 2: CYYC>KFCA>KBTM>KJAC
(Calgary > Glacier Park > Mooney > Jackson Hole)
Flight plan (PLN file): https://tinyurl.com/storms-flight-plans
Aircraft: Cargo props and propliners. NO JETS.
Examples: C-130 and anything normally flown on Lazer's regular Thursday flights (cargo) just flown slower, North American Rockwell Cargo Bronco or the Nord Noratlas (cargo), Lockheed Constellation (passenger), AVRO Shackleton (patrol), Kingair (default)... there are lots of possibilities. Just make sure ahead of time it's a prop and that you can fly the cruise requirements. Note: ILS equipped is recommended.
Recommended: Be sure to download and install the Cargo Bronco, so you can at least see it, even if you don't fly it yourself.
