G'day Pilots!
We continue our journey to the centre of the great continent of Australia! As we have learnt in this journey Australia is a big place, so it's time to breakout the Airliners!
For something a little different we will be using airliners this week. Please note the extra length episode of this flight!
Two VA legs will be featured in this flight MSF 2753 and MSF2754.
We are moving to the jet age this week after enjoying the luxury of piston engines. Flight lead will be in either the default 737-800 or Just Flight / CLS BAe 146
This flight will be taking place using SimLink. The flight plan can be downloaded from my OneDrive.
Weather
A word of warning about weather. The Jeppesen loaded weather is nothing even close to correct for this area. In fact it renders operation out of most of the airstrips here not viable. I HIGHLY recommend a weather engine such as Active Sky (payware) or FSrealWX (freeware). Alternatively you can use the Clear Weather function of FSUIPC. If you have any questions about how to do this please ask!
A Special Thank You to OZ Flyer and the VA Management. For all participants of the group flight who lodge PIREPS during this tour a 2x Time Bonus will be applied! Please add "Part of Novawing24's Australia Tour" to your PIREP comments to be eligible.
