  • edit: SATURDAY Night Mandalorian Flight: This is the way : Sat. 14th, 9pm Eastern

Hi pilots! please join us tonight as we take a long flight and watch a movie together!

    Saturday's flightplan is as follows:

    Gran Canaria Departure (GCLP)
    Bouarfa (GMFB)

    Aircraft:
Anything that can maintain 250 IAS at 25,000 feet. Since we'll be watching a movie, an autopilot is recommended. I will be flying a CJ4.

Tonight's show will be the first ever live-action Star Wars show! : The Mandalorian season II: Chapters 10 & 11

So, grab your favorite beverage, pop some corn and join us as we fly and watch this great show together.

    Happy landings,
    Lazer

If you would like to nerd out on more space related fun, the next U.S. manned launch is supposed to be about an hour before the flight at a planned launch time of 7:49PM Eastern time.
It should populate here about a half hour or likely way more before the launch time: https://www.youtube.com/user/spacexchannel/live
Or search in youtube "Spacex" and look for the official live stream hosted by the youtube channel "SpaceX"
4 Astronauts will be going on an approximate 6 month long stay with about a 9 hour journey to the International Space Station.
If you would like to learn more, you can read just about anything you would like to know about it here: https://everydayastronaut.com/crew-1...con-9-block-5/

Travis, I spent the greater part of my attention that day on Bob & Doug's (not to be confused with this Bob & Doug) maiden SpaceX-Dragon flight and eagerly look forward to this the company's sequel tomorrow! Even more nerding-out on the matter can be done here: https://iss-sim.spacex.com/ where you can attempt the docking routine yourself.
Take the time, a second to soar; for soon after, beckons a second more.

Sadly the launch was pushed to tomorrow evening due to high winds in the Atlantic. They are planning on recovering this new booster and reusing it for an upcoming crew launch, possibly the next if things go well. Sorry for all the false hype, but that is rocketry for ya.
