  • May the 4th be with you--- MsFlights annual Deathstar trench run --- Fri 9pm Eastern

Hi star pilots! Looks like May the fourth is quickly approaching, so lets assault the DeathStar!

Please join us as we celebrate 41 years of Star Wars with an exciting attack on the DeathStar as we re-create the Battle of Yavin!
As a special treat, after the assault we will enjoy a viewing of the ONE that started it all: Star Wars-episode IV: a New Hope.

This flight will take place using JoinFS on the msFlights AU server.

    Aircraft:
For this assault we will be flying the Wonderful X-wing and Y-wing that our buddy Storm spent many hours fine-tuning for these Star Wars flights!

You can download them from Storm's Hangar: https://is.gd/StormsHangar looking in the Spacecraft section. The download contains both the X-wing and the Y-wing, and you should install them at the same time, following the PDF installation manual.

There are separate User Guides for each vessel. Have a try at piloting them both. Then make a choice for our May The 4th flights (or fly them both on different legs).

Here's a detailed comparison of the X-wing and Y-wing that Storm has expertly provided.

Flew the X-Wing in VR. It was so much easier to keep up with the group and fly the trench. What a blast! Looking forward to next May 4. Happy Cinco De Mayo.
