    CRUISE
    Speed: 220 knots
    Altitude: 10,000ft

    AIRCRAFT
Props only. Turboprops recommended. Supercharged props also OK.
Default aircraft: The Beechcraft Kingair 350 is a perfect choice.
Storm's OneDrive: The Connie is a good choice. The Sus Scrofa will work too.
Payware: Many choices such as the P-38 and the Duke turbo. (The Legacy will not work.)

    RESTRICTIONS
    No jets.

    WHICH VERSION, CLASSIC OR STEAM?
We will be using Classic, not Steam. We will continue to use Classic in future weeks for the Great 48! until I can assure pilot security for the flight, at which point we'll include Steam in joint Classic/Steam flights, leaving no one behind!

    WEATHER
    To be decided.

    SCENERY
    Default OK.
Highly recommended: FSgenesis US landclass (inexpensive payware).
FTX Global 1.30 and Vector 1.20 good but optional (expensive payware).
Vector users please see recommendations here.

RECOMMENDED SCENERY ADDITIONS FOR FTX GLOBAL USERS
You can download the whole series of freeware FTX global airport packs here.
This week there are 3 OrbX airports: KSHR, KLAR and KAPA. :eagerness:

Reminder: Join us at KSHR for a 9pm departure on our 220kt flight across the Cowboy State.

Trivia: What have these pictures to do with our flight tonight? Answers and guesses during the flight itself please.

Real weather might make for a different style of flight. Unusual for one of Storm forays, all of tonight's stops have some form of instrument assistance available for landings. Looking at the radar 3 hours before the flight it appears that afternoon heating combined with moist air is creating a number of thunderstorms popping up in the area towards the last portion of the flight.

Leaving the weather set to real may limit visibility for sight seeing. It may also prompt us to have to fly around certain weather just as the real world pilots are doing today.

Great pics! KC, what do you think of the DA-40 based on your experience? Diamond aircraft don't seem to get as much recognition as Cessnas and Pipers.
Take the time, a second to soar; for soon after, beckons a second more.
