G'day Pilots!
We continue through Victoria this week heading into some historic townships! This week we are doing some heavier lifting so perfect for the C-27J and the AN-32!
This will be taking place in FSX:Classic.
The flight plan is now available for download from my OneDrive.
This week will feature three VA routes: MSF2235; MSF2252; MSF2253
Weather
A word of warning about weather. The Jeppesen loaded weather is nothing even close to correct for this area. In fact it renders operation out of most of the airstrips here not viable. I HIGHLY recommend a weather engine such as Active Sky (payware) or FSrealWX (freeware). Alternatively you can use the Clear Weather function of FSUIPC. If you have any questions about how to do this please ask!
A Special Thank You to OZ Flyer and the VA Management. For all participants of the group flight who lodge PIREPS during this tour a 2x Time Bonus will be applied! Please add "Part of Novawing24's Australia Tour" to your PIREP comments to be eligible.
Departure Time: 2100AEST (0700 EDT 1100Z)
Recommended Aircraft: Turboprops that can maintain 270kts. I will be flying either the Iris Battlefield Airlifter (C-27J) or the AN-32 from Storm's OneDrive.
Recommended Terrain Mesh: Orbx Freeware Australia Holgermesh
Recommended Scenery: Novawing24's Aus Tour Airports V2.8
Optional: Orbx Australia (Payware) + Ozx Australia (Freeware)
