G'day Pilots!
We venture this week up into some of the mountains of Tasmania taking in some of the rough and breath-taking scenery there!
This week we will be bringing out Frantic Palmtrees (aka Helicopters!) of all descriptions!
There will be no VA Routes featured this week.
The Flight Plan is now available to download from my OneDrive!
Our departure airport is so new that Default FSX does not have it, In order to meet us there you will need to install the Novawing24 Australian Tour Scenery from my OneDrive.
This will be taking place in FSX:Classic.
Weather
A word of warning about weather. The Jeppesen loaded weather is nothing even close to correct for this area. In fact it renders operation out of most of the airstrips here not viable. I HIGHLY recommend a weather engine such as Active Sky (payware) or FSrealWX (freeware). Alternatively you can use the Clear Weather function of FSUIPC. If you have any questions about how to do this please ask!
Departure Time: 2100AEST (0600 ET 1100Z)
Recommended Aircraft: Rotorcraft that can maintain 160-170 KIAS / I will be flying the Alpha of the MI-24V Crocodile from Storms' OneDrive. Default option would be the EH101.
Recommended Terrain Mesh: Orbx Freeware Australia Holgermesh
Optional: Orbx Australia (Payware) + Ozx Australia (Freeware)
