  • Friday Night Flights: Caribbean Islands #2 (9:00pm ET)

This is hop 2 of 4 in this region.

    Summary
On his voyage to Asia (the Indies) in 1492, Christopher Columbus had believed that he had in fact arrived at the aforemetioned destination and the region was named West Indies. The name “Caribbean”, comes from the Amerindian tribe, the (cannibalistic) Caribs (who were some of this writer’s ancestors). The colonization of the islands by the Europeans has left its mark, for there are many structures still existing that are major tourist attractions.

I noticed since this is the second Caribbean Hop, a small edit is needed.

Not sure of desired cruise speed range, especially as the Comanche is much faster than the Cherokee. Please clarify!

No, I don't think so. The hops were much longer last time. WarHawK changes the recommended aircraft type according to longest hop length and available runways.

Sorry about that, I was reworking this post based off the previous, and it looks like my latest changes never saved and I left it unattended up on here for quite a while.

It should be fixed now, the Comanche should be able to stay on the high spectrum of our speed cap that was not clarified until now.

            Starting at normal time.

Well I tried to join in, but FSX kept dropping the connection. SWMBO was probably watching Netflix. So here's one after I was disconnected and kept flying.

Then I decided as long as I was flying alone to do it in Prepar3d, so while I couldn't match up the weather/time, here's one from there:

Nova, I just spent an hour trying to figure out what aircraft you're flying in those screenshots. It looks so much like the Tecnam P92 that I flew recently. So, it's a Jabiru J-160, eh? Looks like fun! How does it perform in the air?
Take the time, a second to soar; for soon after, beckons a second more.

Hey guys, yes it s he Jabiru I was floating around in. It is a pleasure to fly for the most part, but at low speeds she gets blown around like no tomorrow if one is not careful. The thrust scalar also feels a little off, but having not gone up in the real thing yet I will reserve judgement.

Thanks for the plug warhawk, first review of an FSX product so any comments and feedback welcome!

                          Cheers!
