This is the Beginning of the Helicopters Across America Flight hosted by HawgDawg.
The run begins in San Diego, CA, and goes all the way to Boston, MA! Yes, in Helicopters. But that is too long you say? I agree, which is why I have broken the flight into 7 parts, of which, this is part 1. Each part will be flown, in succession, until we reach Boston.

And as you can see, a big one, so we will fly 4 legs per session. All of these flights are going to be Direct via GPS and nap of the earth, so don't bother asking about altitude.
Due to the nature of this flight, Aircraft restrictions are: Must be Categorized as Rotorcraft, Must fly in excess of 120 knots (no Bell 206's Sorry), no ospray, no Gyro-Copters. Acceptable list includes: Bell 412, Bell 212, Bell UH-60 Blackhawk, EH-101, All Military Choppers, EC-135, EC-332....
