Below is a slightly updated version of the flight plan for Sunday:

Cruise speed (as leg #3 hops are fairly short):
      • 110-120 knots
      • 127-138 mph
      • 204-222 km/h

A few examples of aircraft that both suit the cruise speed range and that have the necessary radio navigation instruments:
      • Cessna 172 (default)
      • Piper Super Cub (freeware IFR version from my Skydrive)
      • Republic RC-3 Seabee (freeware version from Premier Aircraft)
      • de Havilland Beaver (payware from Aerosoft)
      • ... and there are many more...

      Props only please; no jets.

To fly without GPS, using radio navigation (1st hop):
        1. Tune ADF to EMD, 345.00 khz (NDB) and tune NAV1 to ENW, 115.25 (DME almost co-located with NDB).
        2. Fly inbound to EMD.
        3. After passing EMD, turn onto heading 110°M, keeping EMD behind you.
        4. Tune NAV2 to BMN, 117.45 Mhz (VOR/DME), radial 110 (reciprocal radial 290).
        5. Wait for NAV2 audio ident and active DME (at about 22 nm from ENW, 37 nm DME from BMN).
        6. Correct course and fly inbound toward BMN on the reciprocal radial.
        7. At about 11 nm DME before reaching BMN, turn onto heading 180°M, and re-tune to NAV2 to radial 086 (reciprocal radial 266).
        8. Fly to intersect the reciprocal radial at 10 nm DME and you should be directly over EDWQ.

To fly without GPS, using radio navigation (2nd hop), and assuming frequencies and radials from 1st hop are still set:
          1. Fly inbound to BMN on the reciprocal radial.
          2. When approaching overhead BMN, re-tune NAV2 to radial 050.
          3. Fly outbound from BMN on radial 050.
          4. Tune NAV1 to Hamburg ILS 05, IHHE, 110.50 Mhz.
          5. Wait for NAV1 audio ident (at about 29 nm DME from BMN).
          6. Fly inbound on NAV1 localizer.
          7. Re-tune NAV2 to HAM, 113.10 Mhz (VOR/DME). If you continue to 8 nm DME, you will be overhead EDDH.
          8. According to winds, the following ILSs are available:
            1. ILS 05, IHHE, 110.50 Mhz, 049°, 3° G/S (existing course, establish G/S 18 nm DME from HAM @ 3000ft)
            2. ILS 15, IHHS, 111.35 Mhz, 152°, 3° G/S
            3. ILS 23, IHHW, 111.50 Mhz, 229°, 3° G/S (Cat III)
            4. LOC 33, IHHN, 109.90 MHz, 332° (Localizer only; no glide slope)
